How Good Times weathered the economic storm

Colorado-based burger chain Good Times had to change course to weather the stormy seas of the recession. It shifted from expansion mode to focus on menu changes aimed at maintaining the brand's emphasis on quality ingredients while creating more value-priced offerings, says CEO Boyd Hoback. Today, the 44-unit chain is back on course, with 17 straight months of same-store sales growth under its belt.
