Kellogg to boost marketing spend beyond $1B mark

Kellogg Co. CEO David Mackay says the company plans to spend more than $1 billion on advertising and marketing, adding, "We believe continued investment in our brands increases our dependability as a company." He also revealed that the company is seeking ways to slash expenses and has devised case studies that highlight best practices for its global units.
