Study: Vegetables, alcohol may help prevent prostate enlargement

Men who ate at least four servings of vegetables and drank at least two alcoholic beverages daily were less likely to develop benign prostate hyperplasia than those who ate or drank less than those amounts per day, researchers found in a seven-year study. The study also suggests that the risk of BPH increases in men who eat red meat every day.
