TraceRegister promotes seafood safety with tracking tool

Seattle software company TraceRegister provides retail seafood buyers with an Internet-based tool that allows them to track the origins of the farm-raised seafood they sell in their stores. "Our product allows people to make that distinction, between the good operators and the poor ones. The intent of the product is to promote integrity in the food supply," said Philip Werdal, TraceRegister president and founder.
