Even small amounts of alcohol might increase cancer risks

A study of more than 1 million middle-age British women indicates that one drink of alcohol a day can increase the risks for breast, liver and other cancers. The risks increased as alcohol consumption rose and did not appear to change based on the type of alcohol consumed.
