NBCT could be affected by S.C. decision on retirees

Retired teachers in a South Carolina district who are still teaching at will might not be rehired next year as Aiken County school officials look to cut costs. Retired National Board Certified Teacher Richard Valiquette says, "If they can hire a good physics teacher and save the county money, I'll have no animosity. Somewhere along the line you have to pass the baton."
