NBCT: Georgia should continue to reward NBCTs:

National Board Certified Teacher Millie Turek says she faces a $13,000 pay cut next year if Georgia officials go forward with a proposal to cut bonuses for NBCTs. The high-school music teacher says she feels betrayed by Gov. Sonny Perdue, who has suggested transferring promised bonuses for National Board Certified Teachers to teachers who earn a different, state-sponsored certification.
