NSN makes case for cutting carbon footprint

Nokia Siemens Networks has reduced its energy output considerably after realizing the greatest potential for savings involved the production of its mobile-network equipment, a company executive said in explaining how NSN made a business case for lowering its carbon emissions. "We don't need to apologize if we are making money as we are saving the environment. So we are making a business case for our customers to be more efficient," said NSN's Anne Larilahti.
