Social network applications set to take off in 2009

According to Appsavy founder Chris Cunningham, "Social media applications came of age in 2008," with a move toward apps that foster community, make social life easier and/or are truly entertaining. Cunningham identifies five applications to look for in 2009, including Dogbook, a canine Facebook add-on, and Schizle, an iPhone-based coupon delivery service.
