Builder finishes Twins stadium 3 months ahead of time

The builder of the $545 million Minneapolis Target Field has completed the project three months ahead of schedule, surmounting tough obstacles in record time. The 40,000-seat ballpark needed 12 acres for a comfortable fit, but Mortenson Construction managed to squeeze the new home of the Minnesota Twins into an 8-acre site hemmed in by roads, rails and neighborhoods.
