Massachusetts school-bullying measure advances to state Senate

A proposed school-bullying measure was endorsed by a Massachusetts legislative committee Tuesday and is set to be voted on in the state Senate next month. The bill addresses on-campus bullying as well as cyberbullying and would require schools to adopt prevention and intervention strategies. The bill does not require schools to report bullying incidents to the state, an omission that drew criticism from some.
