New Mexico animal owners urged to vaccinate pets against rabies

The Health and Game and Fish departments in New Mexico are calling on all pet owners and livestock growers in Sierra County and surrounding environs to update their animals' rabies vaccinations. The move comes after a fox and a raccoon infected with rabies were discovered Monday in Sierra County.
