10 iPad apps recommended by iSchool educators

Educators from the Explore Knowledge Academy, Nevada's first "iSchool," in this article share 10 mobile applications for iPad tablet computers they use for teaching traditional subjects -- such as math, reading and science -- to students as young as kindergarten using the tablet computers. Among their choices, BrainPOP, which provides access to movies and quizzes on various topics, and ConjuVerb, an app for helping students learn Spanish-language verbs.
