Boeing plans to double 787 output in 2012

Boeing can save more than $1 billion by making changes to its production lines, executive Pat Shanahan says. This year, Boeing plans to double production of its 787 Dreamliner to five planes per month. By the end of 2013, Boeing plans to produce 10 787s each month.
