Business aviation pushes for repeal of fuel-fraud measure

Business aviation groups are advocating for the removal of a fuel-fraud measure in the highway reauthorization bill. The measure leads some aviation fuel to be taxed at a higher highway diesel fuel rate. "This provision is a solution in search of a problem, as evidence of large-scale fraud in the sale of jet fuel has never been demonstrated," said a letter by several aviation associations.
