Md. district asks students to taste-test school meals

In Carroll County, Md., students are taste-testing healthy meal options before the food is served in school cafeterias. After serving healthier versions of Chinese-food favorites, students were allowed to write feedback about the meals -- "didn't like," "OK liked," or "liked." Karen Sarno, supervisor of food services, said the taste tests help inform the district's food purchasing.
