U. of Ariz. plans could include 3-year veterinary program

Some at the University of Arizona, including College of Agriculture and Life Sciences dean and veterinarian Shane Burgess, want to institute a veterinary program that will fast-track promising students into a three-year, year-round veterinary curriculum. The hope is that such a program would alleviate some educational debt load and groom veterinarians for large-animal medicine.
