CMS releases data on 5 ACO quality metrics

CMS data on five of 33 accountable care metrics show that some accountable care organizations are doing a better job than others helping patients with diabetes manage their conditions. Overall, 65% of diabetes patients in an ACO met blood glucose targets, 67% met blood pressure targets, and about 75% avoided tobacco and took daily aspirin.
