Major brands go experiential for the Oscars

Top fashion and lifestyle brands including Vanity Fair, Banana Republic and Stella Artois are launching experiential marketing events ahead of or during Sunday's Academy Awards. Vanity Fair is targeting influential bloggers with show accommodations, and People magazine is bringing 300 readers to daylong events and parties. "Oscar night is Vanity Fair's Super Bowl," said Publisher and Vice President Edward Menicheschi.
