Samsung adds fingerprint sensor, fitness features to Galaxy S5

Samsung Electronics' new Galaxy S5 phone took the spotlight Monday amid a bevy of new mobile device releases at a wireless conference in Spain. Samsung added a fingerprint sensor along with heart rate and fitness tracking, but eliminated other little-used but flashy features to its Android flagship handset that will go on sale April 11 with a slightly larger 5.1-inch screen. In other releases, Panasonic unveiled a 5-inch tablet with voice features whose hallmark is its ruggedness. In addition, HTC released a pair of mid-range smartphones and a supercomputer project.
