Baby Bells to turn to courts over FCC ruling

The four companies vowed yesterday to use the courts to fight a recent FCC ruling on competition for local telephone service that left Verizon "somewhere between confused, perplexed and very angry," CEO Ivan Seidenberg said. AT&T Chairman David Dorman was pleased by the ruling but said, "all we did was win the privilege of going another 50 rounds."
