Ad makers reconsider drug ads in light of negative consumer response

Advertisements for pharmaceuticals are getting a new look from the makers themselves in the wake of recent bad publicity for some drugs and an apparent consumer backlash on others, reflected in a poll showing only 18% of consumers trusted the ads. A separate study showed positive consumer responses to drug ads have declined in the past four years.
