GA pilots ask for input on picking rep for Idaho airport board

General aviation pilots were among those presenting at a public meeting on running a replacement facility for Friedman Memorial Airport in Idaho. Jim Perkins, president of the Blaine County Pilots Association, and another pilot called for giving general aviation pilots a say in picking a representative for the airport's governing board, since general aviation generates about 30% to 50% of revenues for Friedman through landing fees, fuel charges and tie downs.
