Missouri legislator proposes banning time-out rooms

Schools would no longer be allowed to use so-called time-out rooms under a bill proposed by a Missouri legislator. Missouri currently does not regulate such facilities, said Cynthia Quetsch, legal counsel for the Missouri Division of Special Education.
