Dance program offers lessons in etiquette, social skills

Fifth-graders in a San Diego-area school are learning ballroom dance through a program called EduDance that has expanded over the past five years to 40 schools nationwide. Students get a workout, learn dance steps and develop social skills through the program. One teacher says the program is especially useful for some struggling students who excel on the dance floor but lag behind in class.
