Designers find luxury fabrics at Italy's mills

When high-end designers need luxury wools, tweeds and other fabrics to bring their collections to life, they head to textile companies in several regions of Italy. Still, the country's fabric manufacturers have felt the pinch of pricing pressures as companies seek lower-priced labor in Asia -- Italy's fabric makers have seen a sales drop of 30% since 2008.
