ESPN creates a test kitchen for 3-D technologies

ESPN has announced that its Innovation Lab at the Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Fla., also will function as a test kitchen for 3-D technologies leading up to the launch of its 3-D TV service this summer. Chuck Pagano, ESPN's executive vice president of technology, said the new facility would be "a designated testing ground to continue creating a robust ESPN 3D network."
