Geithner says plan for Fannie, Freddie will be unveiled in 2011

Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner told the House Budget Committee that the White House's plan for the future of government-sponsored enterprises Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac will not be disclosed until next year. Geithner also told lawmakers that the government wants to alter its role in the housing market to make it more productive and less risky.
