Highway funding dispute endangers jobs bill

A dispute over highway money is holding up efforts to pass the Senate version of the jobs bill in the House, with House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Chairman James Oberstar saying the legislation lacks the votes to pass. At issue is the highway spending offered in the bill, which lawmakers say unfairly benefits California and three other states.
