STEM careers not discussed much in class, say students

Many science and math teachers are not actively encouraging students to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and math fields, according to the results of a recent online student survey. Some say time constraints often prevent teachers from discussing STEM careers in the classroom, where their primary focus is on subject content and testing.
