T-Mobile returns to customer growth in Q4; parent weighs U.S. options

T-Mobile USA added 371,000 subscribers in the fourth quarter, a reversal of its third-quarter result, when it shed customers, parent company Deutsche Telekom said in its earnings report. The parent's chief financial officer said the company was still considering its options for T-Mobile USA -- including a possible IPO. France Telecom also reported earnings, saying its non-U.K. sales dipped 5.8%, but some parts of its operations improved from a year earlier.
