Why bad scores are really good news

If you're getting lousy grades on your employee-engagement surveys, don't despair, writes Martha Finney. The goal of such surveys isn't to get stellar scores off the bat, but rather to foster a culture of increased engagement, she notes. Bad scores show that your workers still care passionately about your company and represent opportunities to make changes that will allow you to harness that passion more fully, she says.
