Would you hire a job candidate with legal baggage?

A job candidate who has filed an Equal Employment Opportunity Commission complaint -- or had one filed against him -- can pose a dilemma for human resources, experts say. Not hiring a person because of such complaints can cause legal problems, so they suggest requesting a copy of the charge or lawsuit and asking the candidate to give his side of the story.
