CP: Relocation to new HQ part of Harrison's corporate plan

Canadian Pacific's plan to relocate to a new headquarters at its Ogden Yard facility in southeast Calgary, Alberta, is part of CEO Hunter Harrison's strategic plan for the railroad, said CP spokesman Ed Greenberg. The railroad expects to transfer 1,100 employees to the building by the end of this year. The decision is a sensible one as "the new headquarters will have a functional footprint, is being specifically built to the needs of our railroad, and is more suited for our modern operations," he said.
