Huawei debuts smartphone with quad-core processor

Huawei Technologies has introduced the Ascend P2 smartphone, which will be available in the second quarter. The Android handset is based on a quad-core processor running at up to 1.5 gigahertz, although it isn't clear whether the processor is from Qualcomm or is an internal Huawei design, according to this blog post.
