Lowe's keeps outlook cautious as sales rise

Lowe's is optimistic that store resets and improved product assortments will boost same-store sales this year, and the home-improvement chain is calling for an overall sales rise of 4%, the strongest since before the housing bubble burst. However, Lowe's is still taking a cautious approach with an earnings forecast that is lower than analysts expected.
