Listeria death prompts recall of 16 cheese varieties from Roos Foods

Roos Foods pulled 16 varieties of cheese after some of them were associated with illnesses in newborns and a single death in California. The company's cheeses are tied to a listeria outbreak, the CDC said. The recalled products, distributed in the District of Columbia, Virginia and Maryland, include the Anita, Santa Rosa De Lima, Amigo and Mexicana brands.
