Quanttus uses wearable technology to provide real-time health data

Armed with $19 million in Series A funding, a startup called Quanttus is looking to introduce wearable technology that will allow users to monitor medical data such as blood pressure and respiration. The idea is to provide customers with better health information than they could access by going to the doctor annually. "You'd need at least three to five different devices today to do all the things we're doing, which makes it very unique," said Shahid Azim, the company's CEO and co-founder.
