Europe OKs Contraceptive Patch

Researchers say Evra, a patch containing the same hormones as the contraceptive pill, has proven 99% effective in clinical trials. The patch is changed once a week for three weeks; no patch is worn during the menstrual period, developers say. The FDA has said the patch has the same possible side-effects as contraceptive pills.
