FDA: Canadian online pharmacies misconstrue importation law

The FDA says claims that Congress has legalized the personal importation of a 90-day supply of prescription drugs are unfounded. "You can't import back into the United States unless you're a manufacturer. Retail pharmacies are not trying to compete with these rogue international pharmacies because what they are doing is illegal," said Crystal Wright, vice president of media relations for the National Association of Chain Drug Stores.
