Weight gain after age 18 linked to greater breast cancer risk

Older women who gained 20 to 30 pounds after high school graduation were 40% more likely to get breast cancer than women who did not gain the weight, says a new study. The study found that the risk doubled in women who gained more than 70 pounds and experts say the findings underscore the link between breast cancer and weight gain.
