Baltimore luxury-apartment project shifts to two hotels

The $100 million Citycenter project in Baltimore, first proposed as a luxury-apartment tower, will now be built as two new hotels with 300 rooms. Developer Mark Sapperstein says he hopes construction will begin this year on the 30-story building. The development will include a Hyatt Place hotel and an extended-stay Hyatt Summerfield Suites, which will include apartments on top.
