Did Obama desert Twitter?

Despite having about 330,000 followers and a trail of 264 comments since he launched his account in April 2007, President Barack Obama hasn't twittered since the day before he took office on Jan. 20. While snarky tech blog Valleywag suggests that voters were "pumped and dumped" after Inauguration Day, another possible reason is that federal laws are restraining White House officials from using the account.
