New Hampshire to get $58M for $300M worth of water projects

Communities in New Hampshire have a list of 170 wastewater and drinking water projects that total $300 million, but the state will get only $58 million from the stimulus funds allotted to water works. However, Portsmouth City Manager John Bohenko notes that the money will help reduce costs to residents and "frees up money for people to use in their personal lives. And that's the ultimate goal of the stimulus package, along with creating jobs."
