Survey: More teachers feel good about career choice

Teachers feel much more positive, respected, well-prepared and adequately compensated by their profession now than over the past 25 years, according to a new survey of 1,000 teachers. In 1984, 45% of teachers said they'd recommend their profession to a young person; in 2008, 75% said they would do so.
