Verizon Wireless sues auto-dialing firm for "Rabbit" calls

Verizon Wireless has sued a telemarketer for allegedly using auto-dialer technology to place hundreds of thousands of calls to its subscribers in support of the upcoming film, "The Velveteen Rabbit." The suit, filed in federal court against Feature Films for Families, claims the calls violate the Federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act as well as state fraud and privacy statutes.
