Wal-Mart sets emissions goal

Wal-Mart aims to cut 20 million tons of greenhouse-gas emissions from its supply chain by 2015 by asking suppliers to rethink sourcing, manufacturing, packaging and distribution, the company said. Although Wal-Mart's sustainability experts will work with suppliers to figure out how to reduce emissions, any changes will be the responsibility of the suppliers.
