CEO: Yum! aims to be the brand that feeds the world

Yum! Brands now makes more than 70% of its profits at eateries outside the U.S., a data point that highlights its position as a multinational brand, says CEO David Novak. Novak, the son of a government surveyor who moved his family to 23 states by the time his son was in seventh grade, says his childhood prepared him to go into new markets and gave him the empathy needed to operate in other cultures.
