Mich. city's police chief asks council to raise budget

Ann Arbor, Mich., Police Chief and Safety Services Administrator John Seto has appealed to the City Council to approve a tentative budget that includes more than $263,000 in overtime, in addition to a $24.2 million baseline. Seto says the Police Department would be stronger with additional overtime, comp time, animal-control services and supplies.
