Ohio city council revises ordinance on abandoned, junk vehicles

The North Royalton, Ohio, City Council has updated an ordinance on abandoned and junk vehicles to more clearly define the classifications and to give the Building Department more authority on enforcement. Under the revision, abandoned vehicles are those parked on private property for a week or more with expired plates or that are inoperable, while junk vehicles are those that are at least 3 years old with considerable damage.
